Course fees
The course fees quoted include tuition and host family costs only. Hotel accommodation can be arranged subject to payment of the necessary supplement, and availability of a suitable hotel. Full details are provided on the separate course fees sheet.
Telford Academy of English reserves the right to amend the rate of fees quoted without notice. Once an invoice is issued, we guarantee that fees will not be increased, except for changes in VAT fees.

Deposit
A deposit of £100 per person is required at the time of booking to reserve a place on a course. The deposit will show as a credit on any invoice issued, and will be refundable only if Telford Academy of English are unable to allocate you a place.
Payment Terms
Payment of all fees is due 6 weeks before the start of the course, unless prior arrangements have been made with Telford Academy of English.
Bank Charges
All bank transfer charges are to be paid for by the student.
Cancellation
All cancellations must be made to Telford Academy of English in writing. If you provide a minimum of 28 days notice, prior to your course start date, you will receive a full refund less your deposit. If you cancel with less than 28 days notice you will receive a refund less your deposit and one week's tuition fees. You can substitute a student at any time prior to the start of a course, subject to a £15 administration-handling fee. Fees cannot be refunded for any course that has already commenced.
Code of behaviour
Telford Academy of English operates a standard code of conduct and behaviour. The details are issued to each student prior to their course, and are discussed as part of the student's induction on the course. The company reserves the right to ask a student to leave without notice and without repayment, upon serious breaches of this code of conduct.
Insurance
Students are insured against accidents during study time, or when travelling with Telford Academy of English. However, you are strongly advised to take out insurance in your own country as protection against losing your valuables, cancellation or unexpected termination of your course due to illness, accident or for personal reasons. You may be entitled to free medical treatment in the UK. If you are not, you should also insure yourself for payment of medical expenses.
Method of Payment
Telford Academy of English accepts payments of deposits and fees either directly to us, or through our bank in the UK. We accept foreign cheques if drawn on a UK bank, or by Euro cheque. If you forward monies by direct transfer, you will need our personal banking details, which are available upon request.
